As a resident, I urge the legislators, freeholders and other publicly appointed governmental officials to support this petition to construct a community commonwealth center in Cape May County to be used as a place for recreation, learning, volunteerism and personal and communal enjoyment. We are a seasonal community that has been lacking affordable year-round recreational activities, and we are signing here to support our desire to empower a stronger sense of civic responsibility, positivity, friendship and well-being in each of our residents, for the purpose of stronger connection and camaraderie in our community.
We ask that you make a commitment to petition for the grant funding that would be required to finance and construct a facility to meet the terms of this request in the proposal outlined at www.CapeCommunityCollective.org. Thank You.
